A Warm, Immersive Winter Experience Built by Coffee House Industries
This season, Six Flags Magic Mountain partnered with Coffee House Industries to bring extra holiday magic to their park—transforming an ordinary interior space into a fully immersive Santa’s Workshop experience for their “Holiday in the Park” celebration.
Our team delivered a warm, cozy, storybook-inspired winter environment filled with handcrafted scenic details, twinkling lights, oversized décor, and a signature feature that set this build apart: custom-designed faux windows with integrated screens playing looping snowfall and winter landscapes, creating the illusion of a peaceful snowy day just outside Santa’s cabin.
From Concept to Completion
Coffee House Industries fully redesigned the space to resemble Santa’s classic workshop—a nostalgic, wood-trimmed interior with plaid walls, chair-rail molding, custom wainscoting, and warm cottage lighting. Holiday garlands wrapped with lights run continuously along the perimeter, tying every room together with a glowing festive warmth.
We engineered and fabricated:
- Custom-built fireplaces with stacked stone scenic finishing
- Faux windows with recessed screens playing winter outdoor scenes
- Oversized nutcrackers, presents, signage, and themed holiday props
- Garland-wrapped beams and perimeter lighting integration
- Christmas trees decorated with park-approved, durable ornaments
- Full flooring overlays and rug-style scenic vinyl
- Multiple photo-ready moments and character meet-and-greet areas
Every detail was crafted to make guests feel as if they’d stepped into Santa’s real workshop on a snowy North Pole morning.
Immersive Holiday Storytelling
At the heart of the build is the digital-window illusion, a signature Coffee House detail. Each faux window houses a hidden screen displaying high-res footage of falling snow, frosted trees, and winter landscapes. This simple but powerful effect adds depth, atmosphere, and immersion—making the room feel alive and enhancing the cozy “inside the cabin” warmth that Six Flags wanted.
Around the space, decorated Christmas trees, classic nutcracker soldiers, wrapped gift props, themed signage, and layered garlands create a complete visual story. A custom stone fireplace with stockings provides a natural photo backdrop, while smaller vignettes—including Santa’s chair area—invite guests to explore, take photos, and experience the holiday charm up close.
